Very soon, users will be able to take advantage of two new artificial intelligence features in Microsoft's Clipchamp video editor that will help greatly improve the personalized experience and video processing.
Last Thursday on the block, the Microsoft Clipchamp team unveiled two new tools: noise removal and image background removal. Let's break down what these innovations are and how you can use them.
Any background noise, whether it's a slight hum or a loud sound, can ruin a great video. With Clipchamp's new Noise Reduction feature, you can reduce these unwanted sounds without affecting foreground audio, such as your own voice.
To try it out:
A busy or confusing background can distract viewers from the main action of the video. The image background removal tool allows you to remove it.
To do this:
However, these two new features are currently difficult to access.
The good news is that the new tools are available to both free and paid Clipchamp users. It is important to note that for quite a long time there have been services that allow you to perform such operations, but until now they were represented by third-party services and platforms.
A special feature of the innovation is that from now on the features are integrated into the official Clipchamp app and comes with Windows 10 and 11, and is therefore available in the Microsoft Store.
The not-so-good news is that to access the new artificial intelligence features, you need to subscribe to Microsoft 365 and become a member of the Microsoft 365 Insiders club. Windows Insider is an open software testing program that allows users around the world who own a valid Windows license to join in testing new services and services.
Joining the Microsoft 365 Insiders Club is easy. To do so, you'll need to follow the steps below:
Since you are downloading the insider version of the suite, it is recommended that you take a third-party computer. Try not to use a computer that you use every day.
If you are a member of the Microsoft 365 Insider program, you can comment on new AI features directly in Clipchamp. If you're not, or you don't use Microsoft 365, you'll have to be patient. Perhaps the new tools will appear in Clipchamp for all users in the near future.
